What is the pain of avoiding pain?
Pain is stuck or frozen energy. Pain can come from not wanting to move forward. Pain can be the result of beliefs and limiting decisions.
Pain slows you down to not be optimum. Pain is a motivator that you need to look at, as it is giving you an answer to a question you have been asking.
For me, I had a chronic pain in my shoulders and neck for a long time. I knew this information already that I am sharing with you: the pain was manifesting because I was not taking action in an area that I was asking for help in. I kept following it, and this pain took me to so many classes. I would start asking the pain, “Where else do you want me to go? What other emotion is there to let go of?” At times, I would get very frustrated because the pain lasted for a long time.
Today, I truly believe that the pain that was in my shoulders and neck saved my life.
Follow the pain. Note when the pain is stronger. Note what you are focusing on when the pain is stronger. You do not have to live with pain. Learn from my experience and from the experiences of the hundreds of people that this has helped.
Does your pain become stronger when you have to be more vulnerable and when you are asking for a new relationship?
Does your pain become stronger when you are not speaking up at work and you want to ask for a promotion or a raise?
This pain is a nudge for you to get out of your comfort zone and become more optimum. Your life guides can use only your body to get your attention. They are talking to you and saying there is more for you to experience than this pain. Almost like a wake-up call.
Sit and ask the pain, “What are you showing me? Guide me to what I am missing.”
Also appreciate yourself and your body. This body we have does a lot for us and sometimes we do not appreciate it. Love your body and love yourself.
